Summer Nude

I have found this song to be transcendently good. When researching the bands clammbon paid tribute to on LOVER ALBUM, the Magokoro Brothers were the one band whose music I decided I must find. For a couple of weeks, I watched their video for “Haikei John Lennon” at least once a day. On my January 2007 trip to Japan, I picked up their Bigger and Deffer album at Liberty in East Shinjuku. It’s even better than I’d hoped. The weird thing, though, is that the main dude turned out to be married to YUKI, probably my favorite solo singer; she even appears on one of the tracks! Whoa!

The version of this song on 3 peace, after the break when the band kicks back in with full force, is truly one of the most splendid moments of music I’ve ever met.
